Who Should Apply?

  • Individuals already familiar with Internet governance, such as those who have participated in national schools or other related events.
  • Applicants working or studying in information communication technologies who are keen to engage more deeply in internet public policy discussions.
  • Newcomers from areas without national SIG or IG events are also welcome.

Eligibility Criteria

  • You should be from the Asia Pacific region with a strong interest in Internet governance.
  • The fellowship is open to professionals, academics, researchers, and representatives from civil and non-civil organizations.
  • Fluency in English is a must as the sessions are conducted in English.
  • You should have actively participated in related webinars, courses, or meetings.
  • A commitment to maintain the high standards of behavior expected at APSIG.

Note: APSIG alumni and individuals known primarily for attending multiple conferences without active contributions are not eligible.

To apply for the APSIG fellowship, complete the online application form on the APSIG website, by giving details about your experience and aspirations in Internet governance.
