Do you know a young person who is making the world a better place through their actions? Consider nominating them for the Diana Award! This special award, named after Diana, Princess of Wales, is a big honor for young people aged 9 to 25 who are dedicated to helping others and making a difference.
Who Can Be Nominated?
To nominate someone, make sure they fit these rules:
- Age: They must be between 9 and 25 years old.
- Experience: They’ve been doing their helpful work for at least one year.
- Your Relationship: You know them through work or another professional way (you can’t nominate yourself, a family member, or a friend).
- Details: You need to give contact information and a statement from someone else who supports your nomination.
Steps to Nominate

- Vision: Show their passion and commitment to making a difference.
- Impact: Describe how their work has helped people locally or globally.
- Inspiring Others: Explain how they encourage other young people to start their own projects.
- Leadership: Talk about how they lead and organize their projects.
- Challenges: Share any tough situations they’ve faced and what they’ve learned.
What Happens After You Nominate?
If the person you nominate wins, they’ll be celebrated in an online ceremony in December 2024, and they’ll receive a certificate in January 2025. They’ll also have the chance to win another award called the Legacy Award.
