The YEP is a two-year, competitive initiative hosted by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in Geneva, Switzerland. It selects 10 exceptional young professionals to work intimately with WIPO’s various initiatives, providing a firsthand experience of both the technical and strategic aspects of IP. This program is more than just a job, it’s a transformative leadership journey.
Who Can Apply for WIPO Young Experts Program?
To be eligible for the YEP, candidates must:
- Be under 35 years of age at the time of application.
- Have completed a university degree and possess at least two years of relevant experience.
- Exhibit excellent analytical, research, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrate fluency in English and a background or interest in IP, innovation, or creativity.
