Program Details

The MDP spans two years, including a 50-credit course load and a 10-week summer field experience designed to deepen your practical understanding of global development challenges. You’ll also commit to working in the development sector in Egypt for at least two years after graduation.

In the first year, all your costs are fully covered. In the second year, the scholarship continues to cover a significant portion, complemented by a quarter-time work position that contributes towards your educational expenses.

Who Can Apply for Yousriya Loza-Sawiris Scholarship?

This opportunity is for Egyptian nationals residing in Egypt (non-dual nationality holders preferred) who demonstrate:

  • A four-year bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
  • English proficiency (TOEFL: min 79, IELTS: min 6.5, Duolingo: min 115).
  • A strong academic and professional background.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • A demonstrated need for financial support.
