These scholarships are tailored to support your participation in enriching professional events without the burden of excessive costs.
Convention Registration Scholarship
- Application Period: Opens August 1, 2024 | Closes September 15, 2024
- What It Covers: This scholarship will pay for your registration at the 2025 ACPA Convention in Long Beach, California, at the Early Bird 2 rate for Graduate Students and New Professionals, which is $239.
- Who Can Apply: You must be a current Masters or Doctoral student, or within the first five years of your professional career, and you should plan to attend the convention scheduled for February 16-19, 2025.
Flat-Rate Scholarship
- Application Period: Opens October 1, 2024 | Closes December 15, 2024
- What It Covers: Receive a stipend to help with other costs associated with the convention, such as hotel, meals, and travel. Details about the reimbursement process will be provided upon acceptance.
- Who Can Apply: Eligibility is the same as the Convention Registration Scholarship—current students or professionals early in their careers, who will attend the 2025 convention.
Membership Scholarship
- Application Period: Opens October 1, 2024 | Closes December 15, 2024
- What It Covers: If financial constraints or other factors prevent you from attending the convention, this scholarship provides a year-long ACPA membership. This membership grants access to valuable resources like ACPA2GO, academic journals, and professional networks focusing on Racial Justice and Decolonization.
- Who Can Apply: Open to those currently enrolled in a graduate program or in the early stages of their professional careers.
