ASEFYLS (ASEF Young Leaders Summit) 2024 Open Call For Participants

Are you a young leader passionate about shaping the future? The Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF) invites you to apply for the ASEFYLS Capacity Buildings 2024, a transformative experience designed for 80 exceptional youth leaders from Asia and Europe. This is your chance to deepen your understanding of Leadership and Society 5.0 and make a meaningful impact on your community.

The ASEF Young Leaders Summit (ASEFYLS) is more than just a programme, it’s a platform where young minds from diverse backgrounds connect and evolve through comprehensive leadership development. It focuses on three core areas:

Self-Leadership: Empowering you to become a proactive individual.
Team Leadership: Enhancing your ability to lead and work within teams.
Societal Leadership: Preparing you to take on challenges that affect societies globally.

Are You Eligible?

This program is perfect if you are:

Citizens of eligible Asian or European countries.
Youth aged 18-30, involved in youth organizations or student associations.
Individuals with excellent English proficiency.

Note: There are no registration or participation fees. Accommodation, meals, and travel subsidies are covered for selected participants.

Highlights of the Program

1# Educational Opportunities: Participate in the Knowledge Building Phase online from July 2-30, 2024, where you’ll receive expert training on Leadership and Society 5.0.

2# Networking and Experiential Learning: You have to join one of two in-person trainings:

- Asia-Europe Young Leaders Campus in Beijing & Hangzhou, China (August 10-18, 2024), or
- Asia-Europe Training Seminar on Youth, Digitalisation, and Intercultural Dialogue in Budapest, Hungary (October 6-12, 2024). These sessions are great platforms for dialogue, learning, and connecting with peers.

3# Community Impact: Apply your skills during the Action Phase from August to December 2024 by organizing community events that promote knowledge of Society 5.0 and foster Asia-Europe cultural exchange.
