What You Will Gain in Japan

During your time in Japan, you will attend a local high school, where you’ll experience Japanese academic rigor and can join various cultural and sports clubs. This will not only improve your Japanese language skills but also give you a firsthand understanding of Japan’s rich culture and traditions.

You’ll either live with a host family or in a dormitory, which provide you a unique chance to integrate into Japanese daily life and build long lasting friendships.

Eligibility Criteria for Asia Kakehashi program

To be eligible for the Asia Kakehashi program in year 2025-2026, applicants must:

  • Be between 15 to 18 years old by the time of the program start.
