Are you an international student dreaming of studying in Australia? The Northern Territory Government has a fantastic opportunity for you to Study in Australia’s Northern Territory Scholarships. This scholarship program is designed to support talented students like you to pursue your educational goals in the unique and vibrant environment of Australia’s Northern Territory (NT).

Who Can Apply?

To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:

  • Have applied and obtained an offer of admission to study in the NT.
  • Demonstrate a record of academic excellence, community engagement, and leadership.
  • Be accepted to study with one of the NT’s education or training providers listed under “Participating providers.”
  • Meet the academic and English entry criteria of your chosen NT education or training provider.
  • Be residing interstate or overseas and planning to move to the NT at the time of submitting your application.
  • Not already be living in the NT or studying with an NT education provider.
  • Not hold any other scholarship (except the Charles Darwin University Global Merit Scholarship).
  • Have submitted your completed scholarship application form to Study NT.
  • Not be a current Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident, or a New Zealand citizen.

Scholarship Benefits

The scholarships offer financial support tailored to different levels of education, significantly reducing your tuition fees for the first semester or year:

  • English language (ELICOS): $2,500
  • Vocational education and training: $3,750
  • Schools: $5,000
  • Higher education: $6,000

The application deadlines for the Study in Australia’s Northern Territory Scholarship vary by institution:

  • harles Darwin University: October 11, 2024, for Summer 2024; January 24, 2025, for Semester 1, 2025.
  • TAFE Courses: November 22, 2024, for Semester 1, 2025.
  • Department of Education and Others: September 30, 2024; year-round for other providers.
