  • Languages: Proficiency in at least one of FAO’s official languages (English, French, Spanish, Arabic, Chinese, or Russian) is required. Additional language skills are an advantage.
  • Age: Applicants should be between 21 and 30 years old at the start of the internship.
  • Skills: Adaptability to multicultural environments, strong communication skills, and basic computer knowledge are essential.
  • Residence/Visa Status: You must have valid residency or immigration status in the host country before starting the internship.
  • Family Relationship: If your immediate family members are employed by FAO, you are ineligible for the internship.

The internship can last anywhere from 3 to 11 months, providing ample time to learn and contribute significantly.
