What Does the Scholarship Cover?

  • Tuition Fee: GSFS covers the entire tuition for up to two academic years (four semesters), excluding the application fee.
  • Living Support: Recipients will receive a monthly stipend of at least KRW 500,000 for one or two years, depending on the program.

Are You Eligible?

To qualify for GSFS, you need to meet specific criteria:

  • Nationality: Neither you nor your parents should hold Korean nationality.
  • Educational Background: You must have completed all your education outside Korea.
  • Academic Qualifications: For Masters or Combined Programs, a Bachelor’s degree or higher is required. For Doctoral Programs, a Master’s degree is necessary.
  • Program Selection: You must apply for a designated program that participates in the GSFS for the Spring 2025 intake.
  • Admission to SNU: You must be admitted to SNU for the Spring 2025 semester.

How to Apply for the GSFS

Remember, there is an application fee of KRW 90,000.

What You Need to Maintain

To continue enjoying the scholarship benefits, you must maintain an average grade point of 3.0/4.3 or above each semester.
