Are You Eligible for Malaysian Technical Cooperation Programme?

To apply, you’ll need to meet these criteria:

  • You should be under 45 years old.
  • You must have a minimum of Second Class Upper (Honours) or a CGPA of 3.5 at the undergraduate level.
  • English fluency is crucial, so you’ll need to submit scores like IELTS (minimum total score of 6) or TOEFL (minimum total score of 60), or prove your previous degree was instructed in English.
  • A clean bill of health from your doctor is necessary (you’ll cover the medical check-up costs).

What Does MTCP Scholarship Cover?

The MTCP Scholarship is comprehensive and includes:

  • Full tuition fees paid directly to your chosen Malaysian university.
  • A generous monthly allowance of RM3,500.
  • A round-trip economy class air ticket from your home country to Malaysia

Register and complete your application at MTCP Registration and Application (https://mtcp.kln.gov.my/scholarship). You will need to submit various documents online in PDF format, including:

  • A certified copy of your passport.
  • Academic transcripts and an explanation of the grading system used by your previous institutions.
  • English proficiency test results or official proof that your previous degree was taught in English.
  • Your Curriculum Vitae.
  • A medical examination report.
