Are You Eligible MEXT Scholarship?
To be eligible for the MEXT UR Scholarship, you need to:
- Be applying to study from overseas and be a national of a country designated by MEXT.
- Be born on or after April 2, 1990.
- Have a minimum GPA of 2.30 on a 3.00 scale from your last university.
- Not be serving in the military or have been a recipient of a MEXT scholarship in the past unless over three years have passed since your last scholarship ended.
What Does the Scholarship Cover?
- Full Tuition: 100% of your tuition fees are covered.
- Living Stipend: Receive a monthly stipend of 144,000 JPY.
- Travel Expenses: Economy class air travel to and from Japan at the start and end of your program.
How to Apply for MEXT University Recommendation Scholarship
