  • One-time Airfare Grant: Up to S$1,500 to cover your flight to Singapore.
  • Settling-In Allowance: A one-time allowance of S$1,000 to help with initial expenses upon moving to Singapore.

Eligibility Criteria for Scholarship

To qualify for the SINGA Scholarship in year 2025-2026, you must:

  • Have good command in written and spoken English.

How will You Apply for the SINGA Scholarship?

  1. Choose Your Research Project: Firstly, go to Research area to browse the projects you are interested in, available under A*STAR, NTU, NUS, SUTD, or SMU.
  2. Prepare Necessary Documents: After this, you’ll need a valid passport, a recent passport-sized photo, academic transcripts, Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree certificates, and two recommendation reports. GRE scores may be required for some projects.
  3. Submit Your Application Online: Lastly, complete your application on the official SINGA portal. It’s crucial to double-check all the details in your application as you won’t be able to make changes after submission.

Application Deadline

The application deadline for the August 2025 intake of the Singapore International Graduate Award (SINGA) Scholarship will be December 1, 2024. It’s important to submit your application by this date to be considered for the scholarship.
