Who can Apply?

  2. Degree Requirements: You should have either a taught Master’s degree with a minimum average of 60% or a First or Upper Second Class Honours undergraduate degree, relevant to the proposed research project.
  3. Professional Experience: Specifically for the EdD program, you need at least five years of professional experience.

1. Online Application: Start your journey here (https://www.gre.ac.uk/research/study/application-process) by filling out the online application form.

2. Necessary Documentation: Ensure you upload all required documents in the ‘Qualification’ section. Missing documents can lead to application rejection. Here’s what you’ll need:

  • Scanned copies of certificates and transcripts that meet the entry requirements.
  • A scanned copy of your passport and any residency permits.
  • Your Curriculum Vitae (CV), including two referees.
  • A detailed research proposal (approximately 1,500 words).
  • Proof of English language proficiency (if applicable).

3. English Proficiency: If English is not your first language, you’ll need to demonstrate proficiency (IELTS 6.5 in each area or equivalent). However, this is waived if you are a national from or have completed a degree in countries like the USA, UK, Australia, Canada, and several Caribbean nations.

After Submission: What to Expect?

Once submitted, your application is reviewed by the faculty. You may be contacted for an interview, and if it goes well, you will receive an offer.

If you receive an offer, respond within 30 days or by the program start date (whichever comes first). To accept, sign and date the offer letter and return it along with any other required documents to Postgraduate Research Admissions via email at [email protected].
